Events – Pink October at Wellington Campus

This unforgettable event featured a heartfelt talk by a breast cancer survivor who shared her incredible journey of overcoming adversity and launching Warrior Queens, a fashion brand dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer treatment. Her story touched us all, reminding us of the strength it takes to face life’s challenges and turn them into purpose. 💪👑

We also highlighted a sobering statistic: 1 in 8 women will face breast cancer in their lifetime. Through open discussions, health education, and hands-on self-assessment workshops led by young doctors from the Pakistan Youth Forum, we emphasized the importance of early detection and a proactive health mindset. The doctors even initiated a self-assessment process to support women in taking charge of their health also conducting screening for some of our community members. 💖🔍
